HLFS release structure draft (work in progress):

For the moment svn snapshots are being released because the svn book does not
always build a usable system. These releases are name 0.x, and they're expected
to build but have no quality assurance. These versions are not intended for
production systems, but they're better than nothing. These releases are also
not maintained.

Version 1.0 will be the stable release, and it will be maintained forever with
patch branches named 1.0.x, until 2.0 is released.
